Join the Pool Party!

Posted by Lessa | Randomosity | Friday 19 June 2009 8:35 am

While we don’t have time for another season of BBE before Big Brother 11 starts and my focus becomes Big Brother Craze, I had an idea of what should come next. The viewer’s are all for it, so it’s time to let you players in on the plan.

The forums are still open - including a section dedicated to Big Brother 11 – you’ll be able talk shit about the BB Houseguests anytime you want, and generally dish about the season while keeping up with all the goods at Big Brother Craze. Even BETTER though is this….

We’re going to run a BBE Pool Party!

Here’s how it will work:

– I’ll post a signup thread, and we’ll have as many pools as we need to make sure everyone gets a shot. You can even sign up for more than one, as long as you are committed to seeing it through, and willing to pony up your part of the prize.

– Once the houseguests are announced, we will assign each member of the pool (or pools) a houseguest via Random.org to cheer and/or jeer for. You can chatter and discuss and tear apart your houseguests strategy, attitude and/or hygiene all you like.

– If your houseguest wins Big Brother 11, then each member of your pool commits to sending $10-$20 USD to the winner in the form of Amazon gift cards, or some other form of gift card if the winner prefers somewhere else. Let’s say there’s 13 houseguests again, at $10 a person, that’s $120 of new books or something for the winner! Definitely nothing to sneeze at, and it isn’t too difficult an amount to come up with.

– We all have fun!

We look forward to a GREAT Big Brother 11 Season!

Week 6 Roundup!

Posted by Lessa | Randomosity | Monday 1 June 2009 7:23 am

Wow. Week six. Who knew it could go so fast? Would there be any more melt downs this week? Time would tell.

When we last left our houseguests, Florian had just become the first double HOH winner of B B E. In a move that was not entirely shocking, he nominated Jaym and Kyle for eviction, though rumor had it he had a plan and Jaym was just there for show.

Meanwhile, in the final Food competition for the seasons, Jamie correctly found and described several deadly foods, and in a shocking turn, decided to be nice and let the house “Feast” and have private messages, rather then take them all away but for herself and Florian as HOH in a “Famine”

It wasn’t enough to save her though, as Jaym won my favorite contest of the season, the Great God of Otev competition. It’s all about taking notes and counting days, ya’ll! She wiped the floor with her competition, and then used the P O V to save herself. Florian then nominated Jamie as the replacement, and his plan became abundantly clear. She was his target all along.

At the eviction, a contest was announced to get the houseguests publicly active. As Jamie walked out the door with a vote of 3 to 1, a post count war erupted. Jaym and Dru once again didn’t read the directions, and thought the competition was for 24 hours – not a full week.

Oh. The insanity.
Oh. The FLURRY of posts.
Oh. The reading!

They surely took the contest to heart. THEN realized it was for a week, 300 posts later.

Stay tuned for more!

Week Two Roundup!

Posted by Lessa | Randomosity | Tuesday 14 April 2009 4:07 am

WHEW! Things are movin right along, and we’re already into week three! If you missed any of the action last week - here’s a lil taste of the torture we inflicted upon our houseguests! (What? They like it!)

You see, my lovely co-host, Michelle, back at another game in another place was ousted (by ME! hee!) in week two. Then, in another game in another place, I smashed her wee lil piggy bank all to pieces. (But I glued him back together!)

So Week Two of the Big Brother Experience? Was all about Chelle’s Revenge!

In a rapidfire Elimiguest HOH challenge, Jake came out on top, and took over the HOH room. With delight, he nominated who his biggest threats, Wolf and John. Then all hell broke lose! You see, some folks figure they should get rid of inactives first, and let those who wanna play PLAY. Others think hello - let’s not waste an hoh, let’s take out a threat! The two sides squared off… lines were DEFINITELY drawn in the sand!

In the food comp, it was to be Famine or Feast as they searched for the Keys to their Kingdom. When only half of the houseguests showed, and the ones that were there worked their tails off, an executive decision was made and those who competed were rewarded and allowed to keep their PMs.

In the POV - Mig the Pig returned for his revenge, and executed many helpless Precious Moments figurines in the course of the competition. John came out on top once again, winning his second POV in a row! No dummy, he removed himself from the block, at which time Jake nominated Nelson in his place.

Oh but Chelle wasn’t done yet! Oh NO! You see, Easter was coming soon, and we knew it was time to have an Admin Easter Party! YAY! In our Surprise Easter Egg Hunt, four eggs were found - one of which was a Gold Egg, which was useable only in the WK 2 Eviction. John found it, and saved his buddy Wolf from the block, causing Jake to have an brief breakdown as he was forced to nominate yet ANOTHER houseguest for eviction. Chris was placed on the block, and in a rapidfire vote, the houseguests voted Nelson out of the house.

Whew. Are you tired? Cuz WE sure are! What a week! Chelle is feeling slightly vindicated now, but that’s not the last we’ll see of her evil ways, I’m sure!

We start off this week with a Chicken or the Egg trivia - and outa nowhere, Florian has won Head of Household! What is in store for the houseguests this week, with the Britt in charge? Time will tell!

Join us in the forums and follow along! Trust me, you don’t wanna miss this week’s happenings either!

The End of Week One!

Posted by Lessa | Randomosity | Monday 6 April 2009 9:28 pm

So, Week one is in the books, and while some of the guests are just starting to get their feet wet, and we’ve an unprecedented level of Fail Jailing going on, I think we’re getting our footing and should be a on a roll now!

Despite the relative young age of the cast, they are all eager to play, and have shown themselves to be pretty upstanding and fun - though there are a couple obsessions that make us blink on a regular basis! (Dru, dru, dru! *L*)

So Chris won the right to call himself HOH for week one, and the nominees were Dru and Robert - aka, the invisible man. Not sure what happened to Robert, though, as our youngest houseguest, I wonder if he got grounded from he internets. He was so excited to be chosen, that his lack of activity was shocking - we just hope he’s alright and everything is good on his end of things. But that didn’t stop the houseguests from booting him unanimously, after John won and chose not to use the POV.

— Little hint for those on the block: When someone wins POV and is willing to chat about using it on a nom? TALK TO THEM. It could save your ass in the game. It could backfire, but you never know unless you try. This is ultimately a game about relationships with the other guests, so ya might wanna get to building those, hm?

Goes for everyone really. Chat it up! Never know when that’ll save your ass. —

So - Week one is over, and week two begins! Loads of stuff planned this week, so it’s one not to be missed! Jake has won HOH in a quickfire elimiguest type contest, and no one knows WHAT he’s gonna do in the nominations tonight.

Stay tuned, and join us! It’s gonna be a good week!

They’re Moving in!

The man in the mirror…

.
Have you applied? You KNOW you want too…

There are a lot of games out there, and we’re another in the crowd, though we aim to be one of the best! For less time then you spend redesigning your myspace pages for the umpteenth time (unless that’s just me.. hee!) or clicking around tengaged, you can play BB online in a forum based enviornment!

We will compete for power via HOH and POV, and even food via a variety of competitions (explained in game - no, we won’t make you eat slop! How could we? :) ) It’s the perfect place to get your sneaky manipulation and backstabbing and competition joy, without having to leave your comfy chair, or even without having to put on pants. We don’t care if you play in your PJs - just that you play!

So grab your fuzzy slippers (again, just me?) settle in, and check us out at http://realitydaze.com/bbe. We’re accepting applications for our first season on our own since our breakup with another site/game. We aim to start on April Fools Day - and you might be just the April Fool we’re looking for! You’ll never know unless you apply! (application here: http://realitydaze.com/the-big-brother-experience-application/ )

We want YOU!

And you know you want to check it out, too! So whether you come to play, or to see how it all unfolds, we welcome you at the Big Brother Experience!

See you there!
Lessa
and the BBE Team
